Josh and Gigi’s Wedding

August 8, 2016

Between visiting and hugging guests at the reception, I’m sure that Josh and Gigi said hello to the entire room before they sat down to eat anything. This tells of their personalities: welcoming, inclusive, caring, and thoughtful. Gigi told her bridesmaids how pretty they all looked, while Josh kept the groomsmen entertained with rounds of jokes and rock-paper-scissors. These two mentioned from the beginning (and again at their engagement photos) that they wanted their wedding day to be founded on the verse Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” They are one of the sweetest couples, and displayed that with their actions on their wedding day. Thank you, Josh and Gigi, for inviting me to take part on such a significant day. The celebration that surrounded you two last week will only expand from here; the way that you impact others will be stronger with the two of you. I am so thankful to know you guys.

We so enjoyed your wedding and reception. We met new people who were delightful and friendly. (I am assuming they were from Gigi’s family) Everyone was so happy especially the Wedding couple.
The flowers were beautiful and I found one I would like to add to my own garden. I have notified the flower people to see if they can help me find out what it is by name.
The bride was so gracious and so beautiful it caught my breath.
The bible verse they chose is one of my Life Verses too. Paul and I felt very blessed to be there that day.
To the Wedding couple: Please know that we continue to lift you up in prayer as you grow in the LORD and work for the church.
